Men’s Breakfasts is held the last Saturday of each month at King’s Restaurant at 10:00am. Here men from local United Methodist churches gather for for devotions and fellowship.
United Methodist Men (UMM) meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Their focus is service and fellowship.
Ruth Circle meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. This multi-generational group of women is involved in missions, member care, and fund-raising for church projects. Their spring and fall rummage sales are as much of a community service as a fundraiser!
Bethel Book Club is a group of women who meet on the 4th Monday of each month during the school year (excluding December.) They gather at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the current book over dessert. This group is open to women of all ages.
The Choir meets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays during the school year to practice music for Sunday worship and special events.
Loaves and Fishes provides meals, small handyman services, transportation and other everyday assistance to members of the congregation who need support through illness or other hardship.
Needles of Love makes prayer quilts to give to folks going through difficult times. Members of the group also knit and crochet chemo caps, baby hats, and sweaters for World Vision.
Bethel UMC is host to several Girl Scout Troops and the local chapter of Over-eater’s Anonymous.
